Navigation system info.
My dealer has informed me that they have an Audi brochure on the navigation system option, which I have NOT ordered, but might possibly still be able to add to my car (a Triptronic promised for December delivery). They are supposed to mail it to me. Has anyone else seen much information on the navigation system we will get here in the U.S.?
Any comments on how effective it would be? I have used a GPS system in a Hertz Lincoln several years ago and found it to be very good, but it had a map display that could be expanded and contracted by a huge amount. I would recommend some kind of navigation system if you travel in congested areas that you are unfamiliar with. Ours sure came in handy in Detroit!

We talked about this last week. Here's a detailed post about it
I wonder what happens if I put actual html code in my post:
<a href=http://www.a4.org/forum/m/s4/978.phtml>NAV System Explained</a>
Well, if that didn't work, I included it as an "Optional URL" too...<ul><li><a href="http://www.a4.org/forum/m/s4/978.phtml">The Entire NAV story straight from AoA</a></li></ul>
