Need a new clutch, what's best for daily driveability?
Hi guys,
I have a c5 s5 avant with the 2.7t 6 speed swap and an rs4 friction plate that wore out in literally 2k miles.
So I need a new clutch that engages smoothly handles 360hp(euro flash)and 320tq
I have been driving stick (bmw e36 m3 and e46 330) since 00 and the s6 has been the most difficult thing I have ever driven.
When I got the car back it was always shuddery/chattery from stop to 1st and a tiny bit 1st to 2nd and the release is 4 inches off the floor.
Thanks for any suggestions..
Tom

I'd stay away from ceramic if you don't want chatter. How about the ClutchMasters 350?
I have the ceramic CM FX400 with steel LWFW and it's rare that it doesn't chatter in 1st. It's great in every other gear.
