Im asking if running it in what would be the rear O2 location of my downpipe would be to far downstream to get a good accurate reading. Most companies reccomend running them roughly 18 inches from the turbo and the rear O2 location seems to be much further down.

So?

no, it's not too far down. What are you going to do about the stock 02 sensor?

I was curious if anybody's thought of using the narrowband output of the Zeitronix to splice into the oem wires or something so that there's no need for an extra O2 just for the ECU?

Won't work since our ECUs use both the Voltage and Resistance from the O2 sensor.

Voltage is used for the lambda control.
Resistance is used for the EGT calculations/estimations that are used for calulating fueling.

The actual EGT sensors just do enrichment.

The simulated narrowband output only outputs the correct voltages, they have not implemented a means to simulate the resistance changes due to temperature.
