hello all.... after some searching i think i found my new forum. well I just bought a 2001 Audi S4 with 90k miles. Im stationed in wichita KS and i need to find a good place to take my car to get some shedualed mantainence done. I called Autohouse Stuttgart and they seem very chill. $1200 for a full fluid change (sans oil), new plugs, new timing belt. is this good? I want to make sure the motor is perfect before i start really playing with the car and adding go-fast parts. This is the first german car i have owned, I come from a honda tuning backround. the first thing i have been told is to forget everything i know about that. browsing this forum i will agree to that statement.... Please feel free to laugh when/if i ask dumb questions, say dumb things, ect.... thats it for now.

looks like you've got a good attitude and sense of humor towards it -- which you'll need with this
car.
So $1200 is for a full coolant flush, plugs, timing belt (tensioner, water pump, accessory belts, thermostat too?) What about trans and diff fluids? I'd get them to do oil at the same time; no reason why they shouldn't.

bonus for an intelligent first post
Certainly better than the first one I made, I am sure (though, that was ~7 years ago here).
$1200 doesn't sound too bad for that work, though they should do oil at the same time.
I'd say DIY- but that's just my style.
Also- pictures? 6-speed or tip?

nice to meet you. stationed? are you in the military? there are alot of knowledgeable
ppl on this forum,so answers are always there. I can help you right off the bat, search the archives before you post about what type of chip to get. angel eyes don't belong on an s4 trying to protect from major flaming =) the s4 is a car that has unbelievable potential when tuned. as long as you can afford the maiteninence that it requires. my car just hit 101k and it is still runs like brand new, and love it just as much now as i did when i bought it. good luck, and if you have ?'s dont be afraid to ask.
