Oil pressure light on, tach dead, dash lights on, WTF?
Odd problem. Today, my wife is driving the S4 (01 avant) and noticed that the tach was dead/not reading. She drives home and the oil pressue light (and warning bell) goes off, and all the warning lights on the dash are lit. Engine is still running, but she shuts it off. Leaves it in the driveway, and short time later, starts it up and puts it in the garage. No problems (i.e., tach works, oil pressue light off, etc). I had this same problem one time a couple of years ago, but haven't seen it since then. Anyone else experience this?
