Default out with the old in with the new

just wanted to take a moment and say how it goin, new to the audi world. just picked up a B5 S4, 180k on the clock got her from 2nd owner, at a good price $4k... but i know she needs work... got a stack of receipts for the car, all original un molested

so far its pretty close to what i planed on putting into my old car, had a 2000 mustang gt, just put *all stock* new engine trans and all that goes with it.. put 12k into it just to be well eh... un-luckily got plowed by a prius ended up 3 car pinballing till i stopped on shoulder, 2 days before my wedding. needless to say i got a great replacement Much Safer

needless to say im not sure if its a god send for a wish i made o so long ago i would own a tt v6 awd car?!

so get the car and on the drive home, under boost i get a vibration... u joints bad, new driveline eh not bad i want to do exhaust anyway, so cut at the y-pipe pull everything off, put 3" straight pipe on, it driving awesome!! plenty of power and comfy the wife loves it ooo heated seats daughter loves it too she likes the turbo sound, whats this a sputter, fuel filter, oil change, 034 engine and trans mounts later she drives even better only took about a weekends worth of time to change em out 2.5hrs on mm.

and never fails just with any new car, comes issues fuel pump dies, checked for power at pump, of course not the relay so back o jhm i go dru had me covered new pump the next day within a half hour im back on the road and well today i pulled it up on the rack to find a leak not on the driver or passenger side ie valve cover but to find out looks like the crank seal or the plate behind it is leaking when running

what to do what to do... park and go through it / or fix leak and drive it for now.. this dilemma sucks and all to familiar with a new joy
