hm interesting. looks much better than when i did it
you are talking about the black handle replacing the blue handle right?
its kind of tough messing with the piece. i broke some tabs off off my handle when i was putting on my gucci panel interior (persian south park joke)
it can be done, just be gentle

I haven't done it but when you remove the door handle, you'll see the plastic tabs that hold it on.
IIRC, it looked like the plastic tabs were melted to the door card to make them a permanent assembly. I could be wrong, but even so you could cut the tabs off and re-glue somehow.

Yes. Did it with the silver alcantara along with RS4 door pulls. Wouldnt change a thing.
Sorry for the horrible phone pictures.

If you know how to pull the door cards then its pretty easy. But here is a quick step by step if you don't...
Open doors. Remove the two screws (one Right/one left) on the edges of door card. Then remove the one screw in the door handle (black piece you are installing). Once removed pull/push the black trim that screw was in downward. There are two screws behind the trim, remove them.
Now slide the door card with hands on buttom upwards untill it slides away from door. Disconnect the hook on the door pull, wiring for speakers, windows, lock and red side light.
Then lay door card flat on towel and remove the foam piece to see the back of the door card. I believe there is one screw that holds the door handle to the door card, remove it. Now there is a clip at the top (iirc) that needs to be pushed in while pushing up on the door handle. Remove the handle and take the window switch out.
Put window switch in new handle and reinstall handle into door card. Pops right back in. Its a pretty easy job. just go slow and you should be fine.
