Default Paging Gator Al...a while back we were discussing fuel additives like torco. You said you

were going to order it and try it out. Have you done this yet? I am wondering if it works or not, as I cannot find a source for unleaded race fuel within several hundred miles of here...anyone else tried it?

Default Works like a charm, with one caveat...

I haven't logged it yet. You add 32 oz. (~$20) to 10 gallons of 93 for 104 oct (and 32 oz. to 5 gallons for 110, iirc).

The car runs great on APR's 104 code, definitely a noticeable improvement over running Sunoco 100 with the 100 program. One interesting thing I've noticed is that with 100 oct, the car would grumble a bit on a cold start (a relative term here in FL); with the Torco the 104 program starts right up just like 93.

It burns a bit richer or dirtier than Toluene, judging from my exhaust tips-- but nothing excessive.

oh... and GO GATORS!!!

Default so, in your opinion, would it work great on my application? i can get 93 octane

here, along with adding a can of this to say 10 gallons or so of 93 octane and run my APR 100 octane program? I am stock other than the chip. Hit or skip? The reason I am looking at this is because I have searched to no avail for race fuel around here, other than leaded fuel, so I'm out of luck.

Default Since race gas is like $10/gallon here I've been using Torco

Works pretty well. Timing is about the same as running VP 103.
