Default Presenting Zero Clearance K04s!

These custom turbos are available only at Achtuning. They run at a 15% greater efficiency. This lowers IATs significantly as well as allow for quicker spool up. These turbos will be available seperately or in conjunction with any of our turbo kits. This technology was used on one of the turbos in the 996 challenge. Cars running them before and after have seen up to a 15% jump in wheel horsepower.

Here is an example of the power of zero clearance turbos on a 996tt: Zero clearance K16/24 turbos (same compressor wheel as 996 X50 turbo uses) at 1.4bar is 565RWHP and 586RWTQ

Cost of these turbos is only $2995 a set. Ceramicoating is available as well for not too much extra. Lead time on them is around 2 weeks.

We are installing a few sets of these with AMS Stage 5/6 kits here in January and will keep you all posted as to the power advantages they will bring. Dyno sheets WILL come soon. Keep in mind that you should be able to run these turbos with ANY of the major K04 kits out there.

Also, without letting too much info out, we will be releasing another turbo option early in the new year. It will be a much larger turbo, with Zero clearance as well. I can't divulge information on the turbo, but it's going to the biggest/baddest turbo available for the 2.7t (that includes the turbos that are known to be in development from other tuners). Complete packages including fueling and software will be available. Expect some insane numbers.

Jacob (aka Imolavirus) will be around to help answer questions.

Can you explain how "zero clearance" turbos are different from regular turbos?

Default Jacob...you did it, brother!!! You got it out there...CONGRATS!!

Good to hear Josh...I'm so pumped to hear about this "alternative" kit. Its good to know we might not be stuck doing K04s after all. Leak damn-it Leak..... :-)

I would loose my **** if you were refering to dual Garrett Allied Signal GT25s...the car would sound like a freakin' F-16....but whatever you guys have in store will be super welcome.

Now I'm pumped!!!!
