Default Question on disabling engine oil beep

Hey guys,

So let me first just say I am stoked to be able to finally post on the s4 forums! I have been on audi world for a few years, but just yesterday I aquired my first s4, a 2000 audi s4 with stage 2 apr, upgraded rsr k04 turbos and a bunch of other fun bits. I got a great deal, the only thing I really need to fix right now is the oil pressure beeping at me. I have already confirmed that oil pressure is good and it is actually the wiring going from the sensor to the cash that is bad.....is there anyway to temporarily disable that beep so that it doesn't drive me insane? I am not sure if there is a fuse I can yank or a wire I can ground, just for 2 weeks until I have a week off from work so I can actually fix the wiring problem. Or would I have to just remove the speaker from the board itself on the dash? Thanks for any help you can give! I will be doing a proper presentation post on this car a little later so stay tuned 😃

If you ground the wire to the sensor it will stop. Thats about all you can do.
