Is anyone here thinking the S4 tested in the new Road & Track might have been Euro-spec? Evidence favoring the argument:

1) Interior is Euro-spec (ecru seats and door panel inserts, carbon fiber trim)

2) LOW 0-60 time (5.5 sec) _very_ close to that quoted for the Euro-spec car (5.6 sec)

3) Car is Imola yellow and was tested in New York...just like the S4 that was presented at the New York auto show (which WAS Euro-spec). Just a coincidence???

This argument is complicated by the test car's US-spec speedometer (larger numbers in MPH).

Anyone else care to comment?

and although IMHO the article was better reading then C&D, there were a lot of inaccuracies. Forum archives has much more, or just scan below...
