Default rear left sub blown what are my options?

i haven't called the stealership yet but is there any way for me to buy the sub in a aftermarket store?
my understanding is bose stuff is not compatible with aftermarket parts.
same quality and cheap is what i want. couldn't care less for sound.

Default you have heard wrong.... for a cheap and good alternative see MbQuartz speakers

not sure, but they might hook up to your stock wiring which would mean a certain DIY...

If it's the rear deck speaker you can fix it for $3.00. Doesn't get much cheaper than that.

It's not always a loose dustcone - and imo most often not. Fried VCs are not $3 to fix.
