Replacing Aluminum Spindle Knuckles (Uprights) which Knuckles?
Replacing Aluminum Spindle Knuckles (Uprights) Need Help
Hello all, I got 2000 early S4, with aluminum spindle knuckles (aka uprights) and both of mine cracked where the pinch bolt is...... So I wasn't able to find aluminum knuckles for b5 s4, alot of them are steel, I can get either B6 A4 knuckles which are also aluminum or replace mine with steel one from b5 a4, question will B6 A4 knuckles work or B5 A4 steel ones, and what about the lower front control arm? that is different between steel knuckles and aluminum ones........ would prefer to use b6 a4 parts because I can get it for a good price.
P.S. I also heard that later C5 A6 came with aluminum knuckles and those might work.....
