Riddle me this? since you guys seem to be the experts
the 2002 A4 3.0 v6 is listed as being a chain driven DOHC motor and the A6 3.0 V6 is listed as being a belt driven DOHC. Since I can't find a self study guide on either engine such as the one available for the 2.7T. My questions are besides of course the higher compression ratio what is the difference in this engine in comparison to the 2.7T long block. And why wouldn't, with the appropriate ancillary components, ie.. manifold, fueling, piping, turbo's, lowered compression, this motor work with all of the 2.7T components to allow a 3.0 turbo motor.
This may seem really stupid but I'm just trying to think outside the box a little bit.
