Road Test Results

Courtesy of Road & Track. I would imagine the aluminum block information is wrong. I have no idea where they got 16 psi stated in the article. If it made 16 psi, HP would be around 340, and if each turbo only made 8 psi, HP would be around 230-240.
Also note that they post test weather conditions. In their road test summary they also state that weather conditions affect test results, so these tests like all others are not corrected for altitude, temperature, humidity, etc.

Have you noticed that the Tire Rack now has dropped the "all seasons" designator on the 040s?
Has anyone actually seen a spec sheet on the Potenza R040 tires. I noticed that Matt referred to them as "more aggressive" than the SP9000s in his S4/A4(2.7) comparison. Presumably that was because of the size differences, but I still wonder.

Re: Many things are wrong or possibly wrong in this article...
They list the brakes as vented and cross drilled( I wish)they say it has "a large intercooler and dual-stage intake manifold" this implys one inter-cooler and I think it has two. Also A4.org buyer guide shows the wheels as 17x8" wide and others say 17x7.5, what size are they?
