I left a message with the dealer today that I got pricing on the net and wondered when I'd get my S4... Wally called back later in the day, stating they just got a fax from AoA with pricing and that the current schedule has my Imola S4 scheduled to be built in week 38 (we are in week 35 now, he said) and delivered 3 to 4 weeks later... which puts me in late Oct... does this schedule make sense? will it only take 3 to 4 weeks once its built to get to me?

'00 S4 gonna be built in three weeks with an extra gear, all-wheel drive, 10 more hp, 2 more doors, bigger brakes, 4 more air bags, tiltable steering wheel, a "real" yellow, all for $3700 less than an M3! can I get a big "WOOHOO?"

pics is a much deeper yellow...really sharp looking. I'm week 33 so it's built and heading for the docks (maybe on the boat). They told me maybe by months end, but I'm old school - hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I got more good news this weekend. My contractor wants to race his '89 944 turbo, with yours truely as his partner, and he doesn't want me to sell the coupe GT, so he's taking it on barter - so I can buy it back after I convince the wife, in a year or so...
