Default lol...yes, kitchen organisers are used...not to mention that stainless steel mixing bowl you see :p
i can't afford anything else...we even make our own tool carts

Default Ditch the extra line and Y-fitting. Use a new section of fuel line from pump to cover.
BUT...make sure you use the check valve or you will have some hard starting issues.

Default nah...you don't have to touch the feed line with the check valve...there's diff ways of going about
this.
