Is running rich good?? i have black buildup on the exhaust tips

no idea what the difference between running rich etc is...just wondering though

Check your plugs or your O2 sensors, they'll tell you the real story. I don't think you can judge..

if your car is running rich based off of carbon/soot buildup on the exhaust tips.
