Default S4 Belt Problem

Hey everyone, I was driving down the road yesterday and my power steering went out then my battery light lit up. Sure enough what i believe is the serpentine belt is off. I'm to mechanically inclined but do i have to take the front end off to replace it?

Any suggestions on how to fix it would be appreciate

Thanks

Jeff

I'm pretty sure that you have to at least loosen the front end to get enough room to work on it - maybe you have to remove it entirely to get the belt past the snub mount? Idk - if your belt popped off be sure to check the tensioner too because if it is working properly it is supposed to prevent that from happening. Also, make sure none of the pulleys are off kilter or spinning eccentrically.

You can replace the belt and tensioner by removing the fan and your bipipe, just follow this DIY it took me 2hrs.
