Neither! It's a factory option that must be ordered with other factory options, like Bose. It does not add delay to the process. It is also not a dealer installable option.

Now, if you want to add it to an existing order, then it depends on the order state. Once the car has a build week assigned or is in production, it cannot be changed, so if you realy want it in that case, you will have to re-order, and accept a delay!

Thanks. My build, unfortunately, is a couple of months away (I placed my order about a week ago) so I spoke with my dealer and added the Navigation to my order. How is this package installed? Is there an outboard color LCD or is there some in-dash location for the map display that I assume is part of this?

The display shares the small one in the dashboard between the speedo and Tach. It is not a full map display, just graphical directions to a destination. The data is loaded via CD-ROM, I'm "assuming" the CD player in the dash radio does this, though there might be a seperate one with the radio/antenna in the rear deck.
