S4 salesman training manual
Just visited my dealer, he just got back from MY 2000 training this week. The training was in Savannah, Georgia; I do not know what track they were at. Evidently they were trying to mimic C&D comparison because they had a M3 and a C43. My salesman got to drive them and compare them to the S4. He is very excited. He noted that the shifter was as smooth as in the A4 5spd.
I have to repeat this sentence from the training manual that he was given by AOA.
"Published figures for the S4 are 250HP and 258 ft lb torque at 1850. The 2.7 actually delivers a little more than 250hp and produces slightly more than 260 ft lb of torque."
Seems to me that the American version will not be as de-tuned as some people have suggested.
Anyway, if anyone wants a copy of the manual I'll e-mail it to you. The manual is a little more detailed than the brochure, but it is interesting to read what Audi wants its salesmen to know when they are selling a S4.
