Default S4 tires?

ok - we need some fresh rubber on this thing.

What is your best pick - Wife's daily driver - but we have 3 cars so don't 'have to have' an all weather tire.

2000 S4, 6 spd. lowered.

the size that is on it now is 225 / 45 ZR 17

Thanks,

I like the Kuhmo Ecsta series, good tire for a reasonable price.

I've got a set of Michelen Pilot Sport all seasons. Really impressed with how much grip they have in the summer and so far they're equally gripy in the winter.

I'm pretty happy with my Yokohoma S.Drives, 235/40/17

Great wet weather traction, and not too noisey, and a reasonable price, when compared with Michelin PS2s, which I loved on my GTI.

I've run the Kuhmos too...good tire for the price. Would buy again. Currently have Toyo Proxie4s - like them for an "all season" tire...

Currently have a set of Goodyear F1 GSD3's which are great tires except that they are loud when they loose some tread and bubble a sidewall too easily since their load ratting is not enough for our car. The updated Eagle F1's seem to have addressed both those issues and I'm going to probobly try a set when these run down. Also condidering the Ventus Evo's that came out a few months ago.

Default The car has Kuhmo Ecsta on it now

will try to go that way if I can find them in town - - I dont have good luck with tires - I usually have to go back and complain about something. I have leaned to take the wheels off myself and take them in with out the car....you know dented floor pans, suddenly torn CV boots...stuff like that..

thanks for the tips yall

I've been pretty happy with a set of Sumitomo HTRZ III's that I've had on my car for a few months now. I've had several different sets of tires on the S4 and these are very nice on all levels. Plus they were cheap
