Also important where the belts clip in. The rear seat belt acceptors result in a down angle on...
the spine (spinal compression). Best to mount a bar (or have a cage like you said).

It's pretty obvious when you strap yourself into that 4-pt that its not ideal
Yes the angle and length of the shoulder harnesses suck. But even worse IMO is the lap belt. Schroth can market ASM all they want, but until it passes DOT crash testing I don't buy it for a minute. I plan to have proper restraints and a dedicated track car within 2 years...hopefully that isn't too late =\
