Default So I have a wheel problem..... can't decide what wheels to buy. MORE INSIDE.

I just sold my stockers w/ tires to a guy for $550. I need to find a set of wheels for that price (without tires as I already have a set) because I honestly have no extra cash and have no way of getting any (poor college student without a job and no time). Right now the S4 is sitting in my garage at home on jack stands (I can't drive it anyway, I have another car I need to sell before I can drive the S4) so it's not SUPER urgent but I'd like to get everything situated within a few weeks.

So here's the deal... flame if you must... but I've been looking at these on ebay. They are 18x8.5 et30 and weigh the same as the stockers. I had the tires laying around that I got for free, so I would put those on (225/40/18) and basically be rolling on 18" rs4 reps for the same price as I was my stock wheels. What do you guys think... stupid? I know the offset will be out there, but with 225 tires they will be somewhat stretched and I think would be fine with my Stasis Tracksports fairly low and rolled fenders. Opinions? I was also concidering going with a 215 tire in front because I am afraid the front with a 8.5" wide wheel and et30 might be a bit too poked to run with 225 tires.<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Audi-RS4-Wheels-Rims-A4-A6-A8-S4-RS6-S6-Passat-2-7T_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43958QQihZ009QQitemZ 190096981822QQrdZ1">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Audi-RS4-Wheels-Rims-A4-A6-A8-S4-RS6-S6-Passat

So, I guess I really just gotta ask... if you're hard up for $, why did you sell your stockers?

Default Because I figured that I can always buy Fliks or something fairly cheap

And it would be better than stock IMO... but I would rather have RS4 reps than Fliks.

Think again... ET30 will most likely be a problem even with a roll..

But aren't most BBS LMs ET30???? And most of them don't have problems, correct?

Much of the fittment issues revolve around tire manufacturer...not all 225's are created equal..

Default Its actually not impractical at all......

When I could buy fliks or something cheap like that that would be better than the OEM s4 wheels for the same price.
