Default It's funny how those "suitable" carburetors help make 800hp on NASCARS

But hey, they aren't AUDI's so they must be crap.

Default It's relevant because people on this forum can't show simple respect when discussing

an issue without getting personal. This was more directed at leslie who feels the need to chime in with the "LOL", "clap clap", etc. and other stupid BS like that. The auto mags are not the word of God.

I've been on the A6 forum for over 2 years now (I think) and I have yet to see AUJ get in one personal argument (stupid little digs in your posts etc.). Funny how it happens here after a couple of months of posting.

Default r-e-s-p-e-c-t.

hmm, did i insult his weight? (it appears he or the moderators deleted that). make snide comments and other insults? ask more questions, w/o responding to the ones posed in a post directed to him?

think again. my clap, post, only meant i agreed w/ chip and found the "big science dick" funny, sorry i lauged and agreed with his post. is that wrong? my lol post was b/c i said if he couldn't dispute my interpretation of the numbers he'd insult me. what did he do? insult me.

you state he's respected in various circles, that's fine, i wish he'd share some of his experience (respectfully, to members here then). i'm merely talking about the data he's posed and how i've interperated that. i was only challenging his interpretations of those numbers and blanket assumptions that brembo is the best b/c they're widely used, nothing more.

jeez. as i said, i'm done responding to him. i don't need to be insulted anymore and it seems you're on the bandwagon...

I believe you said you were done feeding 'the troll'. I assumed you were talking about yourself.

Default Go back to the table I posted. Do you see any distance superiority in best or average going to F50?

Look at 70-0. This is done who knows how long on the same tires the Stoptechs were tested on 1st. You can't grasp this because your ego won't let you. Open your mind.

... And Brembo still lost.

Default Lame copout.

I've done plenty of homework, and simply put, x-drilling is crap. If you have evidence to the contrary, share it. The fact that you avoid doing so (while trying to cloak it in some kind of "special knowledge" secrecy) means you have nothing. I HAVE researched it, and x-drilling is crap. Post evidence otherwise or quite lying.

Default Look who's talking.

Every stop has a component of tire performance and a component of brake performance. The longer the stop, the more the ratio is skewed towards the brake, the shorter, the more is is skewed towards the tire. The fact the F50 performs better than the Stoptech in a shorter stop and worse in a longer stop implies 2 things:

1) The tires were performing at least as well for the F50 test as they were for the Stoptech test, and quite possibly better.

2) The Stoptech brakes outperformed the F50 brakes, and the longer stop test confirmed their superior fade resistance.

Even in the 70-0 test, the difference between "best" and "average" for the F50 was twice what it was for the Stoptech kit, which, again, means greater repeatability and fade resistance for the Stoptechs.

You, the Brembo owner and apologist, are the one with the closed mind. Again, I have no allegiance to Stoptech or reason to be biased for them, unlike you and Brembo. The data is there, it is clear, and it can only be misinterpreted by those who, like you, WANT to see the Brembos win.

You know the shorter the better via the table, right?
