Stupid question. Need a driver's side fog light.

Stupid question. Need a driver's side fog light.
www.genuineaudiparts.com lists it for $113 but calls it out as left and right side. Now my stupid question. Is the driver's side the left or the right side? I assumed left is the driver's thinking the point of reference is in the driver's seat facing out the windshield. Now if you're standing in front of the car facing the windshield, the driver's side would be your right. Still, everything in the car labeled left and right is referenced from the driver's seat.
Sorry if its a stupid question but I just wanted to be sure before I ordered.
