Hey everyone,
I was on my way back home from dropping of some movies and a dog ran in front of me. I swerved, knee jerk reaction, and tagged our wonderful granite curbs.

I need some parts.
Front bumper, rims, control arms, those snap in lower grill covers, fog lights, etc.

It's Nogaro blue, so if anyone has a line on parts that I don't have to paint, that would be awesome!

It's covered by insurance, how do I make sure they don't low ball me on parts costs?

Can you not get a quote from a body shop, and give it to your insurance?

I plan on that, but don't insurance companies always plan on used parts etc? "Made in China" repops instead of genuine audi parts?

I dont necessarily think so, I had an accident over the summer, my whole door and quarter panel had to be replaced, everything inside and out was new-ish audi parts. The best thing was, I diidnt pay for a single bit of it either.

Well the gecko insurance company did good.
Most of the parts aren't even available aftermarket, and I am having one heck of a time even finding used parts.

I replaced the lower control arm today, that was a PITA. Not alot of work but obviously a part assembled to the subframe BEFORE being bolted to the car.

Now I am down to a bumper, which I can't find for what I think is a decent price, and a fog light.

I did find some aftermarket body kit bumpers on ebay but am leery of the quality.

I just can't believe in a nationwide search I can't find a frikin bumper cover!
