Thank god I finally ripped out those Shine Racing revalved Bilstein pieces of junk!
I have the Shine Racing "real street" suspension - which is a set of 500 lb linear springs all the way around coupled with revalved Bilsteins - revalved to increase rebound damping.
The shocks are junk - plain and simple. The revalving is too much for the seals and they blow out in 6 months or less. Since I put this on, I've swapped out the front shocks once and the rears twice. Bilstens are normally great shocks but Shine's choice of a low-end Bilstein for revalving was a poor one.
The irony is that I took off some perfectly good adjustable Konis to put on the Bilsteins. So now I'm back to the Koni's that I took off and the car rides beautifully again.

I've had the suspension for almost 2 years. Shocks are still great. Rides great
I need to replace a front sway link I think (groaning and moaning up there), and had to do the same to the rear right when it was first installed (search the archives, my battle with Shine is there).. but it's been a great upgrade for me.

I'm a big fan of Shine in general. But yea, I have heard of issues with the revalved shocks. In
fact, when I asked Jim several months ago about the suspension, he said that they would supply the springs and that I could just order Bilstein shocks online myself. So it seems even Shine themselves may have gotten away from the revalved shocks?

Yeah... although city roads are no picnic! Somerville looks like Beirut right now.
I'm pretty happy with the suspension... will keep it for as long as I can (going back to school next fall), but may do a rear sway bar to further stiffen up the back end.
