Default better heatsoak resistance and lower delta IAT at WOT.
i wouldn't call them cheap though and gains are more substantial with turbos bigger than ko3. but hey! i got FMIC with ko3's and loved it. same 1/4 times in 100 deg F, 90% humidity as 50 deg F. legit.

Default yes on top of points mentioned by the sun. the rs4 ic's have metal endcaps opposed to plastic on the
s4's. also if you are going to go stage three it's a must.
