Timing Belt Repl - @TDC, Locking Bar Not Fitting on Cam Socket
I started prepping my car for a timing belt change and many other repairs. When I got my crank shaft to TDC, I proceeded to put the locking bar on the cam sockets. Unfortunately, the cam sockets are not lining up for the bar to be installed. From researching on other threads of this site, it seems this could be due to the belt stretching. Any advise on how I should proceed would be very much appreciated. I'm tempted to install the locking pin, release tension on the belt, move sprockets so they line up with bar, install locking bar, and then release tension. But I imagine that could screw up the timing of the engine.

Looks like your passenger side needs a bit of persuasion. I have experienced this and just used the bar to twist the cockeyed one to line up. Then, put the other side on. I would put the locking pin in first, just because it's easier to wiggle the engine without the cam bar on.
