Or just replace them with screw type when you take them off. I have searched all the posts for "hose clamps" and do not see any clear instuctions how to handle those pinch clamps.

Those clamps are junk. Get better clamps if you remove them.

I went over to hampton rubber to get a few things for the WI install and noticed the oetiker sticker on the front door as I pulled up. I bought this kit for $34! That's a steal after buying oetiker clamps (at prices I'd rather not even mention) from the Audi dealer.
