Transmission fluid change
I am going to change the tranny fluid on my car soon and wanted to know what you guys think of using either Lucas 80w90 OR Mobil 1 75w90 tranny fluid? I know OEM is 75w90 but I can get both of these here locally. The Lucas is a bit thicker but I know they make good stuff. TIA

OEM, Redline MT-90, and Motul Gear300 are popular fluids.
I switched to Redline MT-90 when I first bought my S, and *did* notice an increase in smoothness while shifting.
I wanna try the Motul product someday...Supposedly it adheres to the OEM spec more closely than the Redline product.

80w90 shifts will not be smooth if temps go below 30(more)
until cars warms up. Even Redline MT-90 is not that smooth in cold weather. I might try Redline MTL next winter season or Motul.
