Default TT owner buying 01 S4 friday nite

i've been planning an electric audi project for months,
_______________
I own a 2001 TT 225 pretty well modd'd ( fast and runs great, looks siiiick!)

01 s4 imola yellow :
havent seen it yet (awaiting pics tomorrow)

both pass doors have dents but fuction completly,

some panels were at some point repainted tho not color matched well, so car will need repainting eventually as well as doors

has a little over 100k on it but tranny is six speed and supposedly worked great.

timing belt broke, we all know what that means.. but i have access to a wrecked 2000 a6 with a perfect motor.

i need to buy headlights as they were sold already.

car will get new doors headlights and paintjob. how soon depends on the bellow.

now the dilema..
which car stays gas and which goes electric audi project.
TT weighs 2300lbs vs. s4 weighs 3500lbs?
TT already functions vs. S4 will need work

if s4 goes electric then i begin the project right away
if TT goes electric then i have to fix the S4 motor first

ANY INPUT???????

Thanx S4 guys

which tranny is better i wonder, 210ft lb of torque at all times means the awd will be pretty active?

I would say mechanical since it doesn't take any electronics to run it.

Good luck getting a heavy AWD car to run electric, sounds like a nightmare in weight and friction! I'd just buy a Geo Metro for a couple of hundred bucks and drop an electric motor in it.

Wait, no, I'd drop a Hayabusa engine and trans in it

we have the technology and i have the knowledge, why make a piece of **** EV car when you could roll in an audi, the stupid georgia tech kids beat me to it with a TT, but they used a 5speed 180 and they used ten year old electric car technology, its a joke.
My electric Audi project will be sick insane fast and legit.
Im just hoping the S4 is gonna be fixable, cus then the TT being lighter would be a better choice for the project

Default Electrical should have torque

a bit like diesel trains. The diesel doesn't turn the wheels, it powers a generator. That generator then powers an electric motor which runs the train.

There is no question that electric has power and can be fast. The range is potentially a concern.
