Default yeah, i can see that...

basically i was just saying if you are ONLY worried about voiding your warranty (audi gets mad that you chipped the car, not that any damage was done...) then yeah, 2 ECU's is fine. but if damage is caused because of chipping, i think its the users responsability. if you want to fool the dealer and lie and say it was just a defect, whatever, its your conscious. (spelling...).

all in all, if you chip, assume that could hurt the car, and you could end up paying for it of pocket, and voiding your warranty. aka: assume the worst, as well as reality.
