My warranty co. is dicking me around and I'm trying to save the shop some hassle by providing the warranty co. this info myself.

usualy no though, my 5 speed jeep leaks about a quart every 600 miles, clutch is fine,
audi might be set up differently, but i am pretty sure you would need to leak a **** load to damaage a clutch, i think the flywheel protects it, yes it could cause damage, but imo something else is probably wrong

yeah, just say'n ive had 2-3 cars with leaking main seals and they were fine, i think you need a ..
huge leak to actually get oil into the flywheel and pressure plate area, its pretty sealed, however audi's might be more prone to seepage? beats me,
