My dealership (Fred Lavery in Birmingham, MI) is only initially getting two cars -- one demo car, and mine. Both have been at port for a month now! Hopefully those of us getting demo or "initial batch" cars take delivery this week -- I can't take it anymore!! =)

Ask if power seats can be deleted on the S4. I want to get an S4 Avant in early 2001 but I need all the headroom I can get. Ideally I want manual seats and the dimming mirrors without the sunroof. The answers will probably change between now and then, but it would be interesting to see their current response.

I wanted the dimming mirrors and non-power seats too, and no sunroof. I compromised and zapped the sunroof. I think I'll manage to live with the power seats. Alas, I'm under 6 feet tall :P

Only cars on the show room floor will be a car that is ordered by the dealer - Audi does not send cars to dealers for show.

That car could belong to someone already - Only if the dealer has one unsold or has gotten a customer to agree to leave it on the floor will there be a car on the floor.
