I've searched the forums and have read about bad EGT's the only thing is that my car surging isn't happening under WOT, most of the time it is when I'm slowing down. The car kind of bucks a bit. My exhaust system desperately needs to be replaced and I'm wondering if this could be one of the reasons it's doing this? Boost leak perhaps?

It's a tip by the way, I don't know if this makes a difference (with regards to the surging)

what chip are you running, mine surges a little with a GIAC with a tip

Could be a bad N75 valve. See post lower down.
