Default wierd problem. could my ecu be bad or what??

So I hooked my car up to a vag scanner and it said the ecu was 4z7 907 551 s. BUT when I looked at my ecu it said 4z7 907 551 r. Could that be a sign my ecu is bad or the vag scanner is bad?

Is your car having any problems at all?

Then i shoud'nt worry about it. The only difference looks like a small revision difference. It might be flashed.

It is extremely slow. I'm only seeing like 4 to 6 psi on brand new turbos. Its throwing all types of codes. All o2 sensors, both cam sensors, maf sensor, and secondary air pump.

Without some background about your car it's really hard to guess what's going on.

That's really all the background I have. I bought the car like this. At light throttle is drives fine even at moderate throttle it is pretty quick. But when I put the peddle to the floor the wind is blowing me faster than the car accelerates.

You need to scan step by step. Prefer a realtime monitoring VAG device or whatever.

Can you contact the previous owner? Ask him specific what happend with the car? Any background is worth something on the car.

If that is'nt an option, pressure leak test, N75, refresh filters / oil / fluids, make sure everything is as it should.

From my experience, having the wrong type of sparkplugs or plugs that are worn out, it can do pretty much weird **** with a car like that. Garage accidently provided me Bosch sparkplugs instead of NGK's. It took 2 days when the car started to throw random Cells.
