car was making a loud dry bearing noise right from the front grill. took the serp. belt off and started it up = noise disappeared. Placed order today for belt and tensioner. That plastic cap on the tensioner acts like a little speaker. Fun. Needs tire bad.

working this thing over... anti freeze, gear box oil, diff. oil, serviced the Forge diverter valves...all that you know.

It has 1 upper control arm with some play in it, and 3 others with cracked dust covers - so guess I'll replace them all. Also needs a CV boot. This is getting exciting.

I'm assuming you are in Louisville, the car came off a lot down off Bardstown/Baxter, can't think of the lots name. I know the car, almost bought it several times over the past few years.

Turbos are KO3s, the originals went south at a track day, used KO3s went on the car. Not sure how many miles were on them. Car needed serp and timing belt, water pump, thermostat, etc. Also, needs cam cap seals replaced something fierce. And like you said, needed tires BAD. Chipped (APR I think). No fogs when I saw it last. Car saw some autox a while back and was tracked a bit. With some love it would be fantastic.

If you wanna shoot the bull email me, There are a few us around town with stock, stage2, 2+, and 3 cars. I just finished all of the above mentioned service on my avant so I can give ya some pointers.
