I asked this a while ago and didn't get a definite answer. My top radiator hose blew off last night and I lost some coolant. Trying to decide if I should top off with some water or go buy some G12. I just put G12+ in it, and there's no place around here that has G12+, just G12. I imagine it would probably take a liter of water or so. Is that too much dilution from 50:50?

Default In the summer, topping off with straight distilled water is ok, however I wouldn't want to leave it

that way over the winter depending on where you live.

Default Totally fine. In newer VW/Audis, you're only supposed to use the G12+. In our cars, either or a

mix is just fine. So go for it.

That's funny cause the local VW dealer doesn't stock G12+.
