$2800 for a brake job? Holy poo, that is absolutely insane. Change shops, quickly.
From reading this thread it seems like a fairly common issue. My 13 has 18k on it w/o any noise that I notice. FWIW, both my GT3 and my RS squeak until they are hot then everything settles down. I'm ok with it on those cars, but would be really annoyed with it on the S6.
