The dates I have now would imply the Apollon Leader, but that's a question I plan to ask when I reach out to my dealer on Monday about the updated Supplier cert & dropping off my new tires (they smell, wife is annoyed).

If you don't mind let us know what you find out Monday. I had suspected my car would be on the Goodwood which arrived in Emden last night. My car will probably unload in Brunswick, GA. I plan to contact my dealer next week as well.

I didn't see a "cold weather package" as an option when I went through this with the dealer yesterday. Maybe the Canadian S6 has the cold weather package bundled in - which makes a ton of sense.

However, I would like the flat bottomed steering wheel.

Amelen - did I understand you correctly, the flat bottomed steering wheel is the default wheel on the S6 unless the 'cold weather package' is ordered?

That is correct. The cold weather package then changes your wheel to a round one from flat bottom. As much as I enjoy my wifes heated wheel in her SUV I skipped it on my order because I can enjoy the flat wheel 12 months out of the year.

That's funny, I went the opposite way. I can enjoy the flat one 8-9 months and the heated, round wheel all 12 months.

I skipped the cold weather package because I didn't see the use living in DFW (although we do have snow on the ground right now). I actually prefer the circular steering wheel and only found out that I would be getting the flat bottom steering wheel after I placed my order. Either way, not a big deal IMO.

Can anyone confirm whether the flat bottom wheel is thicker than the heated wheel?

Saw a close up picture of the 2015 S3 flat bottom wheel. My money is it looking just like this. I'll be happy if it does.

Size: 535.6 KB This is a S3 flat bottom steering wheel with the correct controls for my C7 A6
I got smooth leather while I imagine the S3 would have perforated leather on the sides like a proper S wheel
