Yes sir, I have been in KC about 20 years. Bob Hindson Racing is a hidden gem, they will be doing all my work from here on out. A bunch of great guys that are doing what they love. I'm tired of getting railed by the local dealership.


I had an A5 previously, still have it actually, trying to sell it. We had a baby about five months ago so I needed a bigger car. The S6 is perfect, large enough while still having incredible performance. My only gripe is not having a manual. The paddle shifting is fun, but not quite the same.

I test drove a 2016 S6 at a dealer yesterday, and I was very impressed. I was in dynamic mode and it had 20" summer tires, and transmission in either "S" or manual.

I currently own a 2007 A8 short wheel base with the sport option, which I'm not anxious to replace, because I love it, but i will have owned it for ten years as of next week, and I'm starting to look just in case. I recently test drove a A8L and I just didn't like its handling on back roads compared to my A8 or the S6, and the A8 is no longer available in SWB unless you go to the S8.

Looking at dimensions, the S6 is quite similar to my A8 in terms of wheelbase, length and weight, whereas the A8L has really grown in each of those areas, as well as cost.

Bottom line, I really like the "feel" of the S6 in all respects, and if I decide to move on, the S6 is now my likely target.
