Did you get a 3rd party to check out the car? I have seen S6's on the internet that were appealing, but could never pull the trigger without seeing the car in person. Thinking this may be the only option due to the s6 being so limited in supply.

When I sold my CLS, the guy lived in Nebraska and he selected a carrier service based on cost. They didn't take care of the car. It was on the end of the trailer. I tried to get them to move it but they didn't listen, since I wasn't the customer. We pay too much for these cars, not worth the hassle and pain if it arrives damaged. Takes the enjoyment out of the experience. Pay the extra $350 for piece of mind.

FWIW, I went with a covered trailer for $1,425 from Austin; Could have done it cheaper (allegedly) with a couple of other services but the vibes didn't leave me warm and fuzzy. It arrives tomorrow. Can't wait to join S6 forum as a dues paying member!
