Default Auto cross

attached is a (poor quality) video a friend of mine took at an auto cross event this last week. course was definitely not designed for the S6, but i still toasted my buddies' custom 280z and lotus exige. My tires were definitely squealing more than any other car.

it was a blast and gives a great sense of the car's capabilities and limitations. Can you say understeer?

Was your car only in Dynamic or do you have any additional suspension work done? Looks super low. Awesome video, thanks for sharing!

Haha, that only looks super low because all the load was on that side. Looks to be stock height though.

I would invest in the Alu Kreuz and then try the track again!

If the tires weren't pumped up, try that before the next event. It looks like the car is running on the sidewalls. That will improve the handling and reduce the tire squeal.

I used to run the tire pressures at 150% of street pressures (45 vs. 30psi) when I autocrossed.

Default Chalk the tires

Make a thick chalk line extending over both sidewalls. When you see the sidewall chalk remaining, you have the right pressure. The chalk should be uniformly removed on the tread. About 150% of normal may be close. The S6 is not particularly good on a tight course, prepare to be trounced by smaller, way lower powered cars, but its fun.
