Default Brake parts

Looking for the part numbers for disc Italia ceramic non dust pads....can anyone help? Also looked at Adams rotors and at other aftermarket rotors.......1300 for front and rear? Can anyone tell me why it ranges from 300 to 800 for front rotors? Are Adams better? If I add slotted and drilled won't I get noise when I stop?

I know there is probably a thread on this already but I can't find it.

Thanks for the help in advance

I got my Disc Italia Ceramics from Brake World. Just look them up by make and model. As for "non-dusting" they still dust a bit, just a lot less than the OEM pads.

No experience on the Adam's Rotors, but heard positive things. Not sure where you are finding a $300 option for front rotors. OEMs online were almost $300 a piece (which is what I went with). I know that the fronts have a "floating" hat assembly so I'm sure that adds to the cost. Pricing is anyone's game, whether it be driven by quality, customization, branding, or a combination of them all.

As for drilled or slotted, I don't believe there will be significant concern for additional noise. On the flipside however, if you are looking for less dusting, either option would not be optimal.

Best of luck with your decisions and the brake job!

Just visiting, but FWIW several things in thread don't sound right. If a current S6 w/ 400mm rotors, those should be the semi floating ones with the aluminum hat. Not supported by aftermarket, so eBay stuff will be expensive heavy doorstops unless they are OES (and maybe already glowing...). Adams doesn't have them either, contrary to website. I checked into it for 2015 S8 w/ same 400mm front set up as the other various 4.0T's--emailed directly and got that answer back from Adam. Basically dealer only. Only other possible might be Brakeworld, if they are still doing the pretend DiscItalia brand rotors that basically seems to be machined OE parts, or at least was with the D3 A8s for my prior W12. Rears are a lot easier with the conventional cast rotors.

Shouldn't be too hard to check as they are being sold by an Audi dealer ( I think )

FWIW apparently Adam does drill and slot OE rotors for S6 A8.
