Curious dashboard light when entering car
This curious light showed up this week upon entering the car. It disappears once ignition is turned on and no warning lights or messages are present. Can't find it in the manual anywhere. Any ideas?
Car is a MY13. No recent software updates or upgrades.
Thanks ahead

That was my initial thought. However after looking around the web and manual it seems that low battery indicators and warning signs are quite different. This seems more like a status symbol vs warning. I may be wrong. All opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

Is it key low battery warning? Try different key to start it
--I've had the low key battery warning one year into ownership and its not it. But to be sure I have tried the other key and still have the symbol appear only from door opening until start button is pressed.
Why haven't you just called your dealer and asked them to look it up?
--Tried two of the closest dealerships. Both said they have not seen the symbol and they have to run diagnostics requiring leaving the car for at least 4 - 6 hours. Not able to do that at this time. Will run the VAG scan tomorrow.
Any other easy ideas.
Hyper, maybe you can ask at your dealership. The two around my house don't have the best of reputations for service.
Thanks
