I have not noticed the chrome edge along the bottom of the trunk lid before, is that new?
Its standard on the 2016's. It gets deleted with the black optics package.
My car has been at port for 10 days now. It has a release to carrier date of 5/26 but hasn't moved yet. My dealer sent me a note today. He said that Audi sent them an email that "some component of the vehicle has been delayed due to a fire at the suppliers location" which may cause additional delays shipping the cars out from port to the dealerships. He couldn't tell me what that component was or if it would affect my car.

I have no idea - it sounds a bit fishy to me. I do have the wheel locks on my build. I asked the dealer about it and he didn't know why wheel locks would hold up delivery because they could just install them at the dealdership when the car got there.
Looks like the delay didn't apply to my car. It showed up on the carrier today. It will go to the detailer on Friday and get a full front clear bra, tint and opticoat pro plus. I should have it early next week.
Got the papers all signed today. I should have the car back from the detailer early next week.
Can't wait to finally be in the car I ordered back in December.
The sales manager also told me he had an S6 on the way for his dealer stock that was already in production which surprised me a bit. It has black optics and the sport package which are the options I though were slowing things down.
