The objects that appear to be fog lights are actually the sensors that are part of the drivers assistance package. Here's a link about adding lights using the grills.

C7s don't have fog lights. The places that looks like fog lights are the sensors for the adaptive cruise control, part of the drivers assistance package.

I have front and rear fog lights, they are built into the LED lights.

As stated before what appears to be foglights in the lower grills is the adaptive cruise control sensors. Cars without ACC don't have fog-like cutouts.

Now at least on my car which has the LED headlights there is semi-foglight like light. It's in the main headlight housing and is essentially the cornering light (the light that activates when making sharp turns to illuminate the side). You can activate them near the light switch, and essentially it allows you to drive around with both cornering lights activated.

Audi also refers to the static cornering lights as "all weather lights" in the LED headlight array although they point too low and to the sides to be useful as fog lights if used on their own. I'm not sure why the fascination with fog lights. I've had them on several cars over the years and I can't even count on one hand when I relied on them vs the headlights. Most of the time I see where drivers have them turned on during the day with no fog in sight. If used for safety, the headlights serve the same purpose.
