Default Frozen MMI

I was excited as I picked up my new S6 tonight. After a short time playing around setting presets, programming garage opener etc. I was out driving and all of the MMI control buttons stopped working. The MMI is running, and you can adjust volume, change channels etc from the steering wheel, but all of the center buttons are non-responsive. I tried to do a MMI reset, but the buttons are not responding.

Anyone ever have this happen before? Is there a resolution that doesn't involve a trip to the dealer (not that it is a problem, just want to avoid having to go if there is an easy solution)

OK, issued solved. Blew the C3 fuse in the trunk, likely while attempting to install my radar detector in harness behind rear view mirror.

Didn't think that was the issue because MMI was generally working, oh well. Will be more careful next time. hopefully someone avoids an issue from my idiocy.

You were lucky it blew the fuse instead of frying the MMI module.
